«Is there truly such a thing as life? Are we anything more than a delusional fantasy? No. We are a handful of shadows — a handful of shadows that some stoner sees in a terrifying nightmare. (…) Mad people often do whatever they want. Madness is God-given too, just like reason. Once you’re mad, all those spiderwebs —thoughts, fears, fantasies, doubts, restraints, illusions, temptations, arguments— come loose from your hands and feet. You’re free. You fly.»

Visual identity designed for Passage, a monologue written and directed by Fatemeh Mahmoudi. The play portrays a young man who willingly chooses a madhouse as his home, entering a psychological space where life, illusion, memory, and confinement begin to dissolve into one another.
Key visual: light enters through a small opening in a confined space. Through the light that bleeds in from this opening: time passes; we pass; life passes. The image reflects body and mind moving through thoughts, hallucinations, and desire, suspended between enclosure and the possibility of elsewhere.
